The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Tobago Division, is built on five things: business information, advocacy, business development, mentorship and networking. The perks below are what those five look like in practice, once you’re a member.

Discounted courses and workshops

2 free, then half price

The Chamber runs nine paid courses and workshops across marketing, sales, delivery, operations, finance and compliance — practical programmes like pricing for service and product businesses, smart business spending, hiring, branding on a small budget and winning customers with video testimonials. Each is normally $1,000.

As a member, your first two are free and everything after that is half price — so membership pays for itself the moment you take your second programme. Our free midweek presentations stay free to everyone, always.

The Mentor Sessions

Running now

One mentor, up to five business people, one room at our headquarters. You bring your questions; the mentor answers them one at a time, from real experience in that exact area — branding, pricing, chasing debts, selling to the THA, managing staff, and more.

Members get unlimited sessions every month. Everyone else gets one session every three months. Sessions run between 10 am and 4 pm, matched to your topic.

Your single biggest issue

Every member gets a private line to the Chairman for the one problem weighing hardest on their business. Send it through the members’ area and the Chamber takes it up on your behalf — quietly, member to Chairman.

This is member-level advocacy. It sits alongside the Chamber’s general advocacy on the issues that affect every business in Tobago.

Member listings

Being part of the TTCIC, Tobago Division, enhances credibility. Members can list, delist and re-list their business details on our website for free, as often as needed, sharing in our reputation.

Job postings

Members — especially those without websites or social media pages — can post job openings on our site free of charge. We promote the jobs page continuously, so your vacancy gets seen without you spending a cent on advertising.

Your business featured

Our members have business journeys and stories that inspire both entrepreneurs and readers. Membership offers the chance to have yours told — a Business Spotlight on the blog, promoted on the Chamber’s channels.

Write for influence

If you write well and have a proven track record of results in a particular area of business, you can become a contributing author on our blog. We publish monthly and promote each cycle to thousands through advertising — your name and your business travel with every piece.

Business tools, set up as yours

The Chamber builds free tools any Tobago business can use — a T&T business deadline calendar, a monthly payroll tool that produces payslips, and an NIS calculator.

As a member, the tools come pre-set-up as your business, with deadline reminders on WhatsApp or email and a warning before government rates change — the one heads-up only the Chamber gives. And we never see your staff or their pay; those stay on your own phone.

Discounted coaching

Coming soon

Members will have access to discounted group coaching in marketing, sales, business operations, pricing and cashflow management — open only after you’ve completed one of our courses or workshops, because people who’ve been through a programme get the most from coaching.
