Four reasons, and each is worth money.

Education. The Chamber teaches the five areas every business runs on: marketing, sales, delivery, operations and finance. Members get two courses or workshops free, then half price on the rest.

A voice where decisions are made. Members sit on the committees that meet the THA, Central Government and the other bodies that shape day-to-day business here, and raise their concerns directly.

Promotion. Your business is listed in the member directory; you can post vacancies on the job board, which the Chamber advertises on Facebook every two weeks; the blog’s Member Spotlight can tell your story; and if you write well and have results to show, you can write for the blog regularly.

Mentor Sessions. Members are matched with business people who have already solved the problem they’re facing, as often as they need, every month.

For now, membership still starts with a paper application form, a proposer and a seconder. Phone the office on (868) 639-2669 and we’ll email you the form. Joining online is on its way.

No. We have members whose businesses are in Trinidad. Joining is a business decision: if it makes sense for you, your address shouldn’t stop you.

We see no reason they wouldn’t be. Membership dues are a business cost like the others you claim. Your accountant will confirm it for your situation.

No. Our events are for members and non-members alike. Each one has its own purpose, and all of them are a way to meet the Chamber.
